Yellowstone’s Kevin Costner breaks silence on ‘worst final season’ in TV history
Yellowstone came to an end last week after six years, but the series finale has been widely panned by fans, who have called it the “worst in television history”
Kevin Costner has confessed that he’s trying to avoid thinking about the Yellowstone finale, following a wave of criticism from viewers.
The popular drama series wrapped up last week after six years, attempting to pack in plenty of drama, including Beth Dutton (played by Kelly Reilly) murdering her brother Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley).
However, since it aired, fans have been expressing their disappointment, with some branding the finale as the “worst in television history.
Kevin wasn’t part of the final episode, as his character John Dutton was written out earlier in the season via a staged suicide. Nevertheless, the 69-year-old actor has shared his views on the episode.

Elsewhere in the episode, Beth and her husband Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) purchased a new ranch after she killed her brother, starting a new chapter together. Fans had anticipated more suspenseful scenes from the finale, reports the Mirror US.
“Dumb ending #Yellowstone #YellowstoneTV,” blasted one disgruntled viewer, while another declared angrily, “That was probably the worst final season in television history.”
The intense criticism continued as one fan claimed Yellowstone’s finale had surpassed Game of Thrones in terms of poor endings, “It is official. Game of Thrones is no longer the worst final season of any TV show ever.
