Kevin Costner & Bill Paxton’s 12-Year-Old Western Series Is Coming to Prime Video

An acclaimed three-part Western miniseries is heading to Prime Video in December. Hatfields & McCoys, starring Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton, will arrive on the streamer at the start of the month.

Starring alongside Costner and Paxton in the miniseries are a handful of familiar faces, including Walker‘s Matt Barr as Johnson “Johnse” Hatfield, Tom Berenger (PlatoonMajor League) as Jim Vance, Marvel Cinematic Universe alum Powers Boothe as Judge Valentine “Wall” Hatfield, The Hunger Games actor Jena Malone as Nancy McCoy, and The Sandman star Boyd Holbrook as William “Cap” Hatfield, among others.

Hatfields & McCoys received 16 nominations at the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards, the most in the history of the History Channel. Costner and Paxton were both nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie, with Costner winning, while Berenger won for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie. The miniseries was also nominated for Outstanding Miniseries or Movie but lost to the political drama television movie, Game Change, based on events of the 2008 United States presidential election campaign of John McCain.
