Kevin Costner Is Reportedly Getting ‘Close’ With This Unlikely Ex After His Divorce

Kevin Costner is building a relationship with an ex as he continues to navigate life after his divorce from ex-wife Christine Baumgartner.

Those who have followed the ups and downs of Costner’s love life will know that decades before his contentious divorce from Baumgartner, the actor was embroiled in another divorce battle with his first wife Cindy Silva.

Well, as it turns out, Costner and Silva have long since settled an animosity and are reportedly spending more time together in recent months.

“Kevin and Cindy have stayed close friends and she has been guiding him in recent months over his heartbreak from Christine as she is a wise woman,” a source told Daily Mail. “He really appreciates that their sad split has led to such a beautiful friendship. She is an ally and offers great advice. He leans on her quite often.”

Silva and Costner, who met while attending California State University, were married from 1978 until 1994 and share three adult children, Lily, Joe and Annie. The source said the couple’s three kids have been like “glue” keeping the exes together.

“Often they get together for the kids’ birthdays and are able to spend quality time together. It’s all very amicable and friendly,” added the insider who also claimed that, years ago, Costner expressed he “still has love for Cindy” as he called her a “real lady.”
