Kevin Costner has made his priorities clear, not only in terms of his career but his personal life, too. 

As you may recall, Kevin backed out of Yellowstone Season 5—forcing him to be killed off in the highly anticipated return of the show—to focus all his efforts on his Western film series Horizon: An American Saga. His dedication to the project paid off when Chapter 2 (the second film in a planned series of four) premiered at the 81st Venice International Film Festival on September 7, 2024, and more recently, when it screened at the 40th Santa Barbara International Film Festival on February 7, 2025.It was the Santa Barbara premier that’s especially prominent, as the 70-year-old actor not only celebrated his project but showcased his devotion to his family, too. On his big night, he posed on the red carpet with three of his seven children, Hayes Logan Costner (15), Grace Avery Costner (14), and Cayden Wyatt Costner (17).Getting to make @horizonamericansaga Chapter 2’s American premiere at home in Santa Barbara was as special as I’d hoped it would be,” he captioned a reel on Instagram. “I got to be surrounded by my family, friends, and so many of the cast and crew that poured their hearts into these films. @officialsbiff and the Santa Barbara crowd made me feel like a giant, and I’m feeling as honored as ever to get to share this story with all of you.”
