One805LIVE! Benefit: A Star-Studded Evening in Carpinteria.
Around 3,000 attendees gathered at Kevin Costner’s Carpinteria Valley estate on Friday for the One805LIVE! fundraiser, where the stars of Santa Barbara County came together to support first responders while enjoying a spectacular concert.
The event featured an impressive lineup of performers, including Pink, Dallas Green, Kevin Costner & Modern West, Kenny Loggins, Alan Parsons, Joe Bonamassa, Al Stewart, Richard Marx, Alyssa Bonagura, Jordan Asher Huffman, Plastic Harpoons, and The Santa Barbara Symphony. All artists generously donated their time, as noted by One805 representative Christopher David. Final fundraising totals from the auction and ticket sales were not available at press time.
Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, presented the Heart of the Community Award to Loren Courtney, a veteran Army helicopter pilot currently serving with the Santa Barbara County Air Support Unit. Additionally, Kenny Loggins and KLITE-FM Morning Radio Host Catherine Remak received the same award for their significant contributions to the community. Other notable attendees included Rob Lowe, Zoe Saldana, Peter Noone, Jeff Bridges, and Cameron Diaz, who all showed their support for the cause.
Founded in response to the 2017 Thomas Fire and the 2018 Montecito Debris Flow, the nonprofit One805 aims to assist local first responders. Proceeds from One805LIVE! will fund essential equipment, disaster preparedness initiatives, and mental health support.
